On November 2, applications opened up for state funding dedicated to a variety of target uses, including small businesses, bars/restaurants, and residential home relief.
Generally, the small business grant is for businesses with 25 FTEs (full-time equivalents) or less that were in business as of January 1, 2020. Eligible expenses include mortgage and utility payments, PPE, business supplies/equipment, and measures taken to protect people. Restaurants and bars can apply for the Bar and Restaurant Assistance Fund in addition to the Small Business Relief Grant mentioned above. For more information on this program, click here. The Home Relief Grant is the third state program that starting accepting applications on November 2. This program is for Ohioans with an annual income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level (for example, $52,000 for a family of 4). For information on how you can apply, click here.
