The Monroe Local School District is recognized as a regional leader in K-12 education. The MLSD campus was built in 2006 and is located at the corner of SR 63 and Yankee Road.

• Student Population - 2,500 - 3,000 students (large enough to offer a variety of clubs and activities but small enough so that everyone can participate!)
• 97% of state performance indicators met (measures success on State tests; MLSD is consistently above the state average for these assessments and one of the top three districts in the county)
• 96% 4-year graduation rate

Community Partnerships

We encourage our businesses to partner with our school district to help build a stronger community.  Whether that is conducting student tours, participating in Junior Achievement activities, sponsoring improvements to the schools' facilities or events such as the science fair, both the city and the school district appreciate the support of the business community.
